Friday night dinner with delicious food and drink and great company.

In honor of this special HAKHEL year, we invite all men, women and children to participate on a united front.

Hakhel refers to the biblical commandment of assembling all Jewish men, women and children hear the king of Israel read the Torah after every Shmita year (once every seven years). Even though this Mitzvah takes place only while the Temple is built, it is nevertheless, an opportune time to promote Jewish unity and gatherings during this Hahkel year.
