Curriculum
We're impressed with our curriculum, now it's your turn! We hope to engage your child's sense of identity by capturing his/her imagination and attention. We put a lot of effort into providing our students with substantive lessons and a positive atmosphere.
The lessons are multi-sensory and hands-on, ensuring that the students truly experience what they are being taught. The lessons are structured with discussion-starters, to create a lively, interactive classroom experience. The information truly becomes the student's own.
At Chabad Hebrew School we constantly seek innovative ways to engage our students and make Jewish education both exciting and meaningful. This year (2024-25) we will embark on an interactive and captivating journey through the year, focusing on the Jewish home.
Topics covered include Shabbat, blessings, honoring parents, charity, and more aspects of daily Jewish life. Each lesson involves fun and exciting hands-on STEM activities and crafts, ensuring the engagement and enjoyment of every student.
Our Hebrew School uses the acclaimed Aleph Champ Hebrew reading program to ensure that your child will read fluently at the end of his/her Hebrew School experience. Taking inspiration from Karate, the Alef Champ program divides Hebrew reading skills into 10 colored levels. There are fun games and activities to help the students meet their goals. Moving up a level is Aleph Champ is a source of pride for students and this makes them self motivated to succeed.
